When President Trump won the 2024 election. I had retired a few months earlier. I deferred retirement because whan Biden was electedprices went up really fast and my retirement account went down just as fast. I retired because I figured if Biden was reelected we were all screwed anyway. No I feel more hopeful about the future of America
I am almost always hopeful but sometimes despair can take a strong hold and drag me down now and again. BUT like the dog fight in my soul, the hopeful husky and the despairing Doberman will scrap then be best buddies afterwards.
I loved your pairs hopeful husky and the despairing Doberman
@strateguy632 thanks, I'm born year of dog so yin and yang with dogs I've been family with makes sense
Hope is natural to me, even in times of despair. This morning it was the peaceful sounds of some doves outside my open window.
I am hopeful every day. I have that positive attitude that gives me strength to keep moving forward.

There was a very uplifting sermon at church today. It was a story I needed to hear.
@ProbablyClueless cathedrals are also inspiring places - the sound is more silent than the song 😄😋 the joy of silence and echo echo candle candle 🕯️🕯️
@ProbablyClueless the sound of silence 🤠
4 years ago. I was in a relationship with someone I cared a lot about but things didn't work out for a lot of reasons. I haven't been happy or hopeful since.
I am ALWAYS hopeful because of my past: near-death experience, raised in the church (protestant), and how I personally am due to nature, as well as nurture (as previously explained)
It's the 21st century so it's been a minute.
It's been a while, but I'm starting to find hope for the future again.
It was a long time ago. I was younger and more naive.
A few months ago. Then threw it right in the trashcan with my dumb decision making lol.
And then you realised you still have a saved copy of the Excel or Word doc lol 😁😆 joy
Everyone right clicks by a click to the trash by mistake lol 🗑️😔🗑️😔
This morning and the thing that sparked that feeling was the sun. New day new hope
