religions plural are myth. bible is mostly "fable" to teach a lesson as specified in book 2 timothy 3,16. probably almost all was symbolic.
either that or annekdotes. either way, they're fiction.

They have historical roots but in my view only Christianity has absolute truth.

Yes I did just ring the dinner bell for every troll and fundy atheist on here and no I don't plan on trying to convince anyone of this truth.
Most are just stories to contradict the true word of God so people live in sin to not make into heaven?
to shawn good question. but the purpose is different. just for comparison.
Often a historical account. In very religion globally there is a tale of a freat global catastrophe and a people coming from the sea teaching hunter gathers how to build, how to farm and establishing laws set at least 9000 plus years ago.
Yes. Many are based on historical figures and have historical underpinnings, but they are mythologized.
Yes most of it is. Thats a fact. Things like the story of Noah's ark and Moses parting the red sea etc. are myths. Jesus may also be a mythological figure like Thor or Wotan too.
only if you assume super natural is impossible. but in addition to physics and biology god can do miracles. no conflict.
@strateguy632 We have looked for evidence of these events and have not found it. Apologists will claim they have but all evidence presented by apologists has been debunked with the real explanations for what they have found and those explanations are backed up by reliable and empirically verifiable evidence.
One does not need to assume the supernatural is impossible to dismiss such obvious myth. However, one should always endeavor to look to every natural explanation before invoking the supernatural. One should not assume the supernatural is possible, that is an abnegation of the intellect.
No. Hence why mythology, science, history and theology are separate subjects.
In between religious stories and mythological events
Probably not aside from the false gods people had as imaginary friends.
I wouldn't want to pass judgment on what people believe in.
They're a way of teaching people morals and values.
