Oct. 6, 1996 when I got married. We got married in a Catholic church because my wife's parents and family were Catholic. And it made my wife happy to have the whole formal ceremony and bridal gown even though neither of us were religious anymore.

Actually, shortly after that, I attended my mom's Catholic funeral. And several years after that, I attended my dad's Catholic funeral.

From 2002 to 2017 or so, we were members of a nondenominational Unitarian Universalist (UU) congregation and went to services every Sunday. But the services weren't Christian or religious. They were more informative and fun. So I don't know if that counts as church.

During that period, I attended a couple of funerals at the Methodist church next to the UU, and one at the Episcopalian church across the street.

A year or two ago, I went to an event at a Penticostal church where the minister is really cool and holds some large events with famous guest speakers about the covid hoax. But he had a black Bishop there as a guest that one day who went on praying forever as if filled with the Holy Spirit. He really had his act down pat. And he's really rich because suckers buy his routine. I couldn't take it anymore and finally had to get up and leave.

The thing is, I consider Catholic masses to be more like church because they have actual ceremonial services and not just ministers talking.

Probably about 15 years ago. My child had left her mother to live with me. They wanted to go to services so I took them. It didn't last long. As a parent, I thought it was important to support whatever they wanted to do.

This Sunday. God is Good! Go to church guys, I suppose it helps that my church has free food every Sunday and Friday and ours is a more intimate community

  It was messed up on so many levels. Mostly because people were trying to show off how much money they have. It was my wife;s family and it was really hard for me to deal with all the shit. Then i knew that they would somehow serve this meal that would be something that I would not eat so i wanted to eat before we went but my wife would not let me. i went the whole day without any food.
