What is your religious belief, what is your belief in god, what kind of books have you read, can you briefly tell me so that you have information
I think they are a primitive means of commonality. Humanity should eventually outgrow them but must replace them with something more efficient in achieving social unification which doesn't use psychological coercion or take advantage of gullibility. Dishonesty such as apocryphal tales used to answer questions of the unknown are only problematic when followers encounter those of other religions who have been indoctrinated into different answers. This is just one of the ways religion can, will and has led to conflict.
So what do I think about religions? I think they can create unity among a group but hostility and division among groups.
Do I have a belief in god? Only so far as the concept itself is real by being believed by so many people. God is currently inescapable in that sense. However, I have no objective belief in God or gods. They are equally as imaginary as any other being in myth or even popular culture such as demons, cherubs, djins, goblins, leprechauns, the Kraken, The Incredible Hulk, Tinkerbell and so on.
