And please explain why?
What's your religion?
And please explain why?
I am Christian. I grew up in a Christian home. I asked Jesus into my heart at the age of 6. I was baptized at the age of 19. If it wasn't for my religion, I might be alive today. Life is hard, very hard for me. Without anything to believe in, or any hope of heaven after I die. I'd probably just end it.
I've accepted Islam. Although I have major vices to conquer. Pornography, alcohol are two of them
did you know? some Christians forbid alcohol, others allow. if you join those then beer or wine won't be a sin for you.

I'm not religious. I don't know if there's any evidence that a god exists. I have seen a few ghosts, though. I wish I didn't. I wanted to believe that there was no afterlife and we just turned into dirt, then I would have nothing to worry about after I die. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
sounds like the guy in court "i didn't know it was a crime". is that a defense?
Hope you'll get guidance.
muslim.
i born into it and after doing some research myself when i grew older it is the religion i choose to stay.
Same.
Agnostic, but I were raised Muslim.
I'll try and find the link to a previous answer where I explained my journey.
Yeah I was born Muslim, became agnostic, then returned to Islam, it was very confusing and depressing, plus I found out that Islam is the truest religion, it was at my darkest times when I found my way back, Islam saved me and I'll forever be grateful to it, hope you'll find whatever brings you peace too. π
Agnostic after reading about a lot of religions and philosophies and stuff a lot are similar but because of that you can never be 100% sure which is true and which isnβt at the end of the day all you can do is believe and attempt to follow the guidelines which you will break no matter what they not realistic at least for humans.
so far 5 people said they continued their religion because their family was that religion. so those had not compared faiths. but when people do compare, whether muslim or jew some leave because prefer jesus as more than messiah.
Yeah there are those too, they leave their religion because they like the idea that Jesus is more than a prophet, he is GOD, but I've noticed smth that Muslims don't get triggered by it, while Christians when an ex christian tells them that he/she left Christianity because they resonate with "Issa ibnu Mariam (Jesus) is a prophet and not god", and that the trinity is so complex, and doesn't make sense, they get mad, and start rolling their eyes and be like oh here we go again. I think people must respect other people's beliefs, you can say I don't agree with you, discuss it in a mature way and move on.
My current thinking: if all that exists is created, and if the source of a thing is not that thing, then the source of creation does not exist. The only way a creator could exist is if not all that exists is created.
Therefore, I'd currently say agnostic and avoiding belief, striving to instead perceive with integrity.
Great thinking, I slightly lean more to agnostics than atheists, to me being agnostic means you're smart and u use your head, I kinda feel sorry for atheists, because I think it's either they've been traumatized, or smth led them to lose faith, even though it's obvious that there's a creator, who's still keeping the universe if not the multiverse balanced..
They think that there's no creator.
Thanks. As far as I can tell, balance is a state to strive for, or simply wait for. Water is trying to be stable, but enounters or is encountered by stiffer things which cause temporary instability on their own ways to stability.
did you notice? "and if the source of a thing is not that thing, then the source of creation does not exist" without a source, nothing would get created. proving your claim false.
I reply from a desire to spread clarity. Whole statement- "My current thinking: if all that exists is created, and if the source of a thing is not that thing, then the source of creation does not exist. The only way a creator could exist is if not all that exists is created." Cherry-picking does not work for correct analysis.
Messianic jew. So we believe Christ is savior and son of God. Doesn't make us all that popular with the other jews. We keep our jewish identity though, since Jesus was one of us first.
Imagine no religion.
I was raised Christian, but never really believed it. When I was ten and started thinking about it, I concluded that God is just a fairy tale, no more real than Santa Claus.
just ignore the context of that song "nothing to live or die for and no religion too" the context "not to live only for... even religion". lennon was interviewed not intolerant of all religions.
Leaning towards Presbyterian (PCA). Why? Probably because the local pastor actually cares about people. Helps the homeless, runs a food bank, lives a modest life, walks the walk.
Reasonable.
Alhamdulillah I am Muslim. Born in Muslim family, culture and country and I feel blessed for that.
I'm a staunch, dyed-in-the-wool atheist, but if I had to choose a religion, it would be the one in which I worship the female.
I don't follow any formal religion but I do have my own beliefs.
As to why, I was raised christian but didn't see proper evidence to proof those stories were true and I had my doubts on the god. So I became agnostic, then one day I asked if I had a spirit guide who guided me since birth and if so if she could make herself known and I pointed out a sign I previously recognized. Day after I got the proof presented to me, so ever since I have been a believer.
May the creator guide you to him.
