If these faith healers can heal peoplel like they claim, then why dont they go to the hospitals and nursing facilities?

My pastor was talking about this last Sunday about miracles. I believe miracles do happen because my grandpa was one. But my question is if these faith healers on TV can heal people, then why don't they go to the hospital and assisted living facilities?

That's covered in the Gospels.

When Jesus Himself went to His town where He grew up only a few people were healed because of THEIR lack of Faith.

Receiving Healing - the "Sozo" healing the Bible mentions - is as much an act of Faith as praying for the sick person is. I'm kind of stubborn about receiving Healing and the result is I survived being technically dead for four hours but two weeks later needed my leg amputated. I was prepared to receive the restoration of my life but couldn't somehow receive healing for my leg. It's like I didn't believe I deserved it after what had already happened.

I feel kinda stupid now, but not guilty. I just have a better understanding of myself and God now.

Hospitals have nothing to do with healing. And when you are healed by the Holy Spirit, it is your faith that allows it, not necessarily the person doing the healing although that can be the case. Also bear in mind that I know people that ignore healing and go to Hospital because that is where their faith lies.

The point is you have to have faith in them, for it to work. So if someone went out of their way to find one, they would likely have more faith. There are many fakes out there too.

Yeah, I agree, just don't know how that quite works. I know my (late) Great uncle was deaf in his one ear and during service while visiting the Tabernacle Church he got his hearing back in that ear.

They're frauds. I went with a friend to one of those "crusades" and when the charlatan tried to Holy Spirit swoosh me I just stood there until he got frustrated and moved on. Guess whose stage time was cut from the TBN broadcast?

Yeah, I agree, just don't know how that quite works. I know my (late) Great uncle was deaf in his one ear and during service while visiting the Tabernacle Church he got his hearing back in that ear.
