Of course not.
I have far more faith in my dog and I dont have a dog, but at least dogs are real and if i did have dog there is a chance it could help me.
Having an imaginary friend who is also a doctor is presumably comforting, for a time but I would rather be uncomfortable with the truth than comfortable in a lie.
Assuming there's an all-powerful, all-knowing god out there, then sure, it'd be very little effort from his part.
It demonstrably doesn't.
It depends exactly what we're talking about - faith healing or prayer, but they both fail tests. In fact prayer has demonstrated itself to be slightly worse than placebo.
I believe the brain has healing powers on your own body. So if you wanna believe your brain is a form of God, then have at it!

There's a famous study that tested healing from prayer. It was ran by some religious college. They discovered that when someone was sick prayer had exactly as much effect as random chance. But if the person knew they were being prayed for their chance of healing was WORSE than random chance.
There's a 2000 year old book that claims there's an all-knowing perfect being who loves you forever. But if you use your body out of lust (the body he gave you), you are condemned to torture forever. The book tells you that god is your father but expects you to interpret those 2000 year-old words as a guide for your life while never ever speaking to you directly to make corrections, as any true father would. And if you ask him for things you will receive them exactly as much as you would from random chance. This 2000 year-old book was written by a perfect author that has so many interpretations that religious have split off and fought each other. The 2000 year old book tells you that if you do everything he says you get to live with him forever.
Absolutely not!! If that's the case, why are there so many really sick people, most of whom praise god and beg it to heal them only to get no help at all from it because it doesn't exist!
I am an African and I say No... if you can't find Joy you can't attract joy. For me God is in you, only you can decide to pass through something. Not easy, you shall better work on yourself. Joy is just the highly thing that can spread over you.
Oh for sure. But the person in question has to recognize he/she is in need of healing.
God gave people intelligence. people heal themselves by using their mind
That's the job of healers and medicine - not God.
I dont believe God exists
Maybe the idea of a God heals some people mentally though... but so could any idea that disolves worries
I don't know what to believe anymore
Would have to exist for that to happen
God hasn’t grown back limbs, has he?
hell to the fuck no. Evil will always be evil
God not exist now a days

Yes, in certain situations
