If you could predict your own death, would you want to be able to do that?

Morbid question, YES, but a reality check, for those "immortals" among us.

We all take for granted that the sun will rise tomorrow. We will wake up, go to work, OR NOT, and carry on our daily activities like normal.

But, how would we live if today is our last day on this planet?

My beloved companion animal, did not know his life was going to end, due do his inoperable liver cancer, and me and my woman veterinarian, mercifully, and tearfully, euthanizing my wonderful friend.

I think we would all live BETTER and be more productive, if we had no concept of our inevitable end of life. We, as humans, are the only living things that KNOW that our lives will eventually end someday, but do not know when that would be.

I would NOT want to know, and just continue my life as best as I can make it until that time comes, and think most of us want to do that.

Now, this time of year, we are thinking of BIRTH, and a New Year, but I always do my own reality check, to keep my life perspective on track.

All of you have a wonderful Christmas, and a new birth with a NEW YEAR, coming, and appreciate that sunrise tomorrow.

So no, thank you. It's better not to know and enjoy every minute.
