I am agnostic. I believe that it is impossible for us to know, and I believe that "faith", which is what religions are based on, lacks logic and reason. By definition, faith means to take something as truth without logical reason or proof. I think that's a bad idea.
It's an even worse idea once people decide to start controlling and killing other people based on their illogical beliefs.
My "religion" or beliefs are more of a philosophy than actual religion. It's evolved over the years. One of my basic premises is that truth is subjective, because all organisms experience a unique perspective, and do not share identical values or abilities to receive and process data. Humans have 3 types of rods and cones in our eyes, allowing us to see in color, while dogs only have 2 types and see in black and white. So dogs have no idea the wide spectrum of color that is actually out there, they are ignorant.
But before we get all proud of ourselves for having 3 types of rods and cones and knowing so much more than dogs about what the world is really like, it may burst the bubble to know that butterflies have FIVE types. So they see light frequencies we cannot (colors), such as ultraviolet. If you think that's impressive, " the mantis shrimp has 16 color-receptive cones, can detect ten times more color than a human, and probably sees more colors than any other animal on the planet. "
Speaking of shrimp. When we catch a net full of shrimp and eat them for dinner, we consider that "good", and when we don't and go hungry that's "bad". But from the subjective perspective of the shrimp, it's the opposite. That's what I mean by "truth is subjective". Or another example, if we play poker and you lose $1,000 to me, good for me, bad for you.
There's no objective truth, but religion attempts to say there IS. I find that pretty ridiculous. Consider that we started off with faith in a religion, which we've already established is not based on reason and proof, and now that religion wants to be the objective sacred word and foundation of objectivity (dictating what is good and bad)? That's not a very good foundation for logical conclusions.
It would take me another solid 10 paragraphs or so to delve more into my philosophy and how it developed, but the bare bones of it is that humans (subjective) have a lot of illusions (beliefs) and that if one realizes this, even though one cannot know objective truth, they can at least be aware of their own illusions to some extent and in some ways can even manipulate their own illusions to create a sort of magic in their lives.

I have no religion. I used to believe we just turned to dirt and that was a comforting feeling because that would mean I have nothing to worry about after death. Then I saw some ghosts and that fucked everything up.

I have my own spiritual beliefs based on a mix of stuff.
I was raised in church. I believe we were created by God. The big bang theory happened by god creating things and use to to start life but scientists won't admit that the truth of the big bang. God created us to be children of God and bring each other together but most people are tempted by the devil and do bad things. War happens cause people listen to the temptation of the devil instead of finding peace in the Lord. People blame God for things but it's not him doing it.
