For those of you who are religious, do you believe in a pre-existance?

Do you believe we existed before coming to earth? Is the a particular religion you prescribe to?

One spiritual idea that I’ve seen brought up a few times. The idea that we are all part of a greater consciousness that exists outside of a physical reality in which a piece of us departs to incarnate on earth and live in a physical body. I don’t know how much I believe in such a thing, but there are plenty of psychic channelers who are certain they have spoken to such entities and written books about what they say (look up Esther Hicks and Abraham, or Seth and Jane Roberts, or Ra and Don Elkins). Though these entities mainly relate to the idea of The Law of Attraction, or The Law of One. Good reads, or so I’m told. I’ve admittedly only read Hicks and Abraham’s book but it does offer some interesting perspective on how much our thoughts influence our lives.

personally i don't accept that. i *beleve that soul start existing when god extended his life into the human, the godly spirit is the soul.

the human life starts like all animals when the genetic parts completed the total chromosomes for whatever species, called "fertilization". dogs have 78 chromosomes (39 pairs), cats have 38 chromosomes (19 pairs) Humans have 46 chromosomes. that is the START.

I do not believe in reincarnation but I have theorized that a Soul is recycled. And perhaps some vague memories are passed along. Like Constantine.

I’m more spiritual than religious but I lean Protestant in religion
