Enlightenment? To me that means leaving the childish fantasy of God and an afterlife behind.

You keep quoting the Bible. Maybe that makes you feel good, but to me the Bible is just words made up by someone then translated a few times until there was an English version. There is no evidence that any of it true, and it is known that much of it is complete myth. Do you have any actual evidence?
God is present with the humble, with the remorseful, in the praises of His people, and is an everpresent help in trouble. His Son is the Light which lights every man, for whom and by whom everything has been made. God lights the eyes of both the poor man and the liar, and loves even His enemy. Whether you believe in these things or not, they are part of the fabric of who we all are, whether we blind ourselves to it or not. Please feel free to stay in any or all of the states listed at the beginning of this paragraph. His reality is actively at work in us at such times so they are the spiritually healthiest states to be in.
Also the least educated with the worst life expectancy, the highest rates of teenage pregnancy, the highest crime rates...

Where you live doesn't have a food bank?
Mormons said they will call me back, but not yet.
They said to find the nearest one because they order their charity food two weeks ahead by order. The van's gas light came on literally right in front of the food bank, and it opens in three days, been here one. YeHoVaH Is great!
