+1 yyes it has the best evidence and logic and songs.
1, by deductive reasoning which religions attract people without using threat and fear only one. protestant christian. the others fail to attract followers including atheism they do not have any proof that atheism is true, to attract followers. it is blind faith to assume no god,
2 people risked saying unlikely prophecies but when they happened at the correct time that showed the prophecy was real and fulfilled.
3, logic obligated for all causes must be a cause that is god and from the various gods claimed, christian is the best match.10 Reply

+1 yNo, I follow Jesus.
Christianity today has become about judging people and adding/taking away from what Jesus actually commands us to do.
True Christians are those that follow and obey Jesus. A "Christian with god-like form" is a Christian who says and does all the right things (and even knows scripture really well) but does not have a true relationship with Jesus. Sadly this is the more common Christian today and are the reason so many hate those who call themselves "Christian".

I learned at a very young age that all religions are just cults in disguise who use basic manipulation tactics to gain and maintain followers.12 Reply- +1 y
Word
cult (n.)
Meaning
1610s, "worship, homage" (a sense now obsolete); 1670s, "a particular form or system of worship;" from French culte (17c.), from Latin cultus "care, labor; cultivation, culture; worship, reverence," originally "tended, cultivated," past participle of colere "to till" (see colony). The word was rare after 17c., but it was revived mid-19c. (sometimes in French form culte) with reference to ancient or primitive systems of religious belief and worship, especially the rites and ceremonies employed in such worship. Extended meaning "devoted attention to a particular person or thing" is from 1829. Cult. An organized group of people, religious or not, with whom you disagree. [Hugh Rawson, "Wicked Words," 1993] Cult is a term which, as we value exactness, we can ill do without, seeing how completely religion has lost its original signification. Fitzedward Hall, "Modern English," 1873]
Athiesm is a cult I disagree with. - +1 y

1.4K opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. I am an observant Christian and a Zionist. I further believe Christianity is the new manifestation and fulfillment of Old Testament Judaism. It relieves believers of an obsession with works righteousness and supplants the blood sacrifice of Old Testament Jews. Jesus was was sinless and is the penultimate blood sacrifice for sin. I believe what I do on faith and have no further need to defend it.
20 Reply567 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. That's to vague. How many Christian denominations are there again? They don't all agree on everything and to be a Christian you have to basically agree with God himself on everything.
I believe in the bible and the bible only, KJV only!12 Reply- +1 y
almost, but not "everything"! see 1 cor. 15 and romans 10. in your kjv of course!
505 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. No. The Christian Bible is based on the Hebrew creation myth. Every culture has it's own creation myth. There is no reason to believe that the Hebrew god is the one true god. The god of the Talmud is demonic.
00 Reply2.5K opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. I didn't follow any religion because I've never seen evidence to support their beliefs. It's just all old stories. I figure that if God wanted me to do something they would be able to convince me..

would you say the same about other history books?
"I've never seen evidence to support their claim that America battled spain in Philippines, and It's just all old stories"? - +1 y
@strateguy632 that's a common argument from Christian apologists but it's a false equivalence. Some history is accepted because there are archaeological artifacts that are consistent with the history. Some history is accepted because there are multiple consistent records. None of it makes extraordinary claims of supernatural events. It's not even clear that Jesus existed at all. He isn't mentioned in any writing at the time he was supposedly making all this noise in Palestine.
Do you believe the Book of Mormon is true? The Q'uran? What about Zeus and Odin? Why not?
No I have epilepsy and have been revived twice before treatment and nothing happens when you are dead. Imagine blinking your eyes and in that millisecond your eyes are closed 5 minutes went by. No time, nothing.

Something worth investigating:

I've seen people healed through the laying of hands from disease through Jesus. A lot of the time, or unbelief robs us of so much. I know a guy that was under attack at a job but did not exercise any of the authority through Christ due to unbelief. After I told him about it, and did it on his behalf. The attacks stopped within just 1 day. This has happened to him twice now... - +1 y
@Truthatanycost I’ll pass. Beliefs do not change reality just your mentality
- +1 y
I spent about 90% of my life as a non believer. I used to think the same. But what happens when (after believing) you start to see healing miracles, families helped, people freed from harassment, instant manifestation, people's lives saved and so much more, you want that for others too.
But my comment was just a comment. No debate. God bless you. Don't forget to check the link, it's about MCT oil reducing seizures but only a small study.

10 ReplyNo, I wonder how many people would still consider becoming religious if they banned the preaching of it to anyone under 18. Waiting until their minds were more formed. Rather than trying to convince children who are more accepting

@strateguy632 / I don't think so. How about ''Christian'' countries claiming ''in God we trust'' or "Gott mit Uns" when they go against their 'neighbours'?
- +1 y
in god we trust is u. s we never attacked mexico or canda. nazis PERSECUTED christian they were not christian leaders. hitler stopped goint to catholic church before he was a teen.

@strateguy632 If the U. S. WOULD trust in God - why do they then feel the need for military? :)
I'm not thinking so much about 'wars', though. It's what was done in Guantanamo, CIA 'operations', banks and bankers knowingly ruining other people's lives, and such. Among those we find scores of avid 'church' attendees. And the ''churches'' ... don't bother to comment or to act.

Psalms 119:115-118
Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God. Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually. Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.

King James Version John 14:15,21-24 if ye love me, keep my commandments. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
u +1 yI follow the commandments, but not everybody’s perfect. I don’t see where it says in the Bible about if you don’t follow the commandments you’re going to hell it’s about accepting the Lord as your personal savior and believing that he died down the cross to save you from your sins and now all sudden all these years later, you come up with something totally different.

And if you don't love Jesus, quite frankly, you won't keep his commandments. People who willingly sin can not make it to heaven. Jesus said to sin no more, not to make excuses with false doctrines of satan. - +1 y
John 9:39-41
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
