Yes, I am a religious person and feel a connection with God.
But I can't tell if I'm getting messages in the form of signs. Maybe I just don't notice.
In general, we were taught an interesting story about this at school. Once Joan of Arc saw a sword on the road and thought it was God's sign of changes in France. But later, after she had done a lot, an angel came to her and said... that the rider simply lost his sword while riding his horse. And she found him. The Lord did not send any signs, she invented.
I know that God's signs exist, but it is difficult to distinguish which one is real. It seems to me that you can only somehow feel it. But I don't understand how it works.

The messages I get are from the Bible. Anything outside of that is suspect. Christians are not supposed to add to revelation. God telling you something comes dangerously close to that.
