I’ve started more than a few over it lol

It was back when I was in my aggressive part of the deconstruction phase as I left the church as a teenager. My grandmother is a staunch evangelist type, thinks gays are going to hell kind of woman. I’ve challenged her multiple times on those beliefs and how contradicting they are. It always just ends in us both being mad and disgruntled that we couldn’t convince the other person to agree with us or say their views were wrong lol

@behnam1999 My father was on the board of my church. He let us wander around the office after service so they could divide up the offering among other business. Seeing the massive pile of cash alongside how little my church was actively involved with any community outside of its own broke the illusion that they held christ’s teachings. I also don’t like how they tried to make me sign a contract when I said I wanted to be baptized.

So, what does it have to do with the religion itself? People can claim to be religious in words, act but not according to their religion.

I left the church because I saw the hypocrisy in every church I witnessed. I left God when I realized that the highly debated structure of the religion was not something that fit with the ideas of universal kindness and love in its practices. I rejected dogma, which included that of christianity

You call it hypocricy yourself. That means talking good, but not acting good. People being immoral has nothing to do with religion. I refer you to what Communists did in Russia and Ukraine. By the same logic, people must convert to Christianity after watching what the atheistic Communists did. Search "Holodomor".

I am Muslim. Many people fight with me. Insulting my faith. If They want to learn about my faith then they could ask and I would reply to them. Even they don't like the answers they start to criticize it. No healthy discussion. I do know about a lot of christianity more than most Christians do. I have a bible too.

But most Christians aren't knowledgeable about my faith. I respect all religions but only ignore people approach me.

Muslims doesn't accept all hadith but we acknowledge them. There's a whole science behind this. There's what we call weak hadith either due to discontinuity in the chain of narrators or due to some criticism of a narrator.

Yes, but you have to accept all the hadiths, you have to accept the weak hadiths, especially the hadiths of Tabari and Bukhari. The hadiths of Tabari and Bukhari are reliable hadiths that are authentic from the first hand. Taberi is a very important historian of Islam. Without Taberi, you cannot learn the history of Islam, or rather, the religion of Islam will collapse.

There was the Quran, I read it at the time. I need to know Arabic to read the Quran. I don't know Arabic, I only read tafsir and the topics are very complicated, it doesn't explain anything clearly. It tells about Moses, which is 2000 years old, but the places are unclear, so I read the old covenant Torah book. The Quran is already 90% taken from the Torah.

The Quran doesn't tell anything either. It's a 600-page book, it constantly repeats its verses, if we take out the verses again and again, we're left with the life of Muhammad, Jesus and Moses, and there are also hadiths.

What there's translate out there. Or do you need some links? Moses is a most mentioned prophet in Quran, Muhammad was mentioned 4 times. Quran talk about Moses, jesus, all prophets. You haven't read the Quran, still claiming Quran is taken from Torah. That doesn't make sense. Read it the holy Quran. We have one version of Quran in Arabic, but there's translations out there.

90% of the Quran is a quote from the Old Testament Torah book, what is it doing with Moses or Jesus? Jesus is not a prophet anyway, but God himself. In the Quran, the Old Testament Torah book is constantly explained and the topics are very fragmentary, places, time and place are not given much, so go and read the Old Testament Torah book. you need to read

Do you understand what I am saying, and do you know how many years there are between Jesus and Muhammad? The New Testament was made with Jesus. Jesus is the embodiment of God, the real God is Jesus. I am telling you that there are exactly 600 years between Jesus and Muhammad. After 600 years, a book called the Quran came and says that Jesus is a prophet. Which religion is the prophet? Jesus is the prophet of Islam. The religion of Islam. This book did not exist in the time of Jesus. It came to the Arabs. He had no contact with anyone other than the Arabs.

Still spreading nonsense without educating himself. He doesn't have a bible for god's sakes. He should spend his time on educating himself on christianity first & save his faith that's declining. Churches are empty.

Islam is the most practiced and fast growing religion. @billlewis you already know discipline Muslims are. Islam doesn't promote hate. I may advise you to inform yourself what Islam teach as way to educate yourself. Rather to take his random opinion besides on ignorance.

For the asker, jesus didn't claim divinity. You don't have even bible to being with. Preach us the beautiful world of christianity. Get educated.
