I was doing some research and a video about divine paths kept popping up on my feed, though it wasn't particularly related to what I was looking for... So I set it aside and listened to it... It was interesting enough to prompt the question... Do you think you're here to serve a higher purpose?

The Oracle/Strategic Visionary (Predicting & Planning)

The Free Spirit/Open Hearted Connector (Observant, Social & Outgoing)

The Truth Teller/Inspired Infiltrator (Very Direct in Seeking & Sharing Truth)

The Hermit/Confused Wanderer (Quiet Meditation & Research)

The Warrior/Hero (Protective; Taking Action)

The Healer (Meditative, mending fences, caring)

I am not entirely sure where I fall on this. I feel like there are seasons where I have taken on each of these.

I think my core is The Oracle and The Truth Teller, though.

Yes, I believe I am. I believe I am here to learn, to suffer, to inspire and to make a difference, either small or large. I've been broken multiple times by life, and I've learned that no one is exempt from pain, physical and emotional. It's a rather privileged idea to think we are entitled to a life without suffering, and I'm at peace with it, after years of fighting it. No one wants to sit with the pain of others, so I see it as a unique ministry now. Not to fix it, but to be a companion in it. Sitting with sorrow and helping others to not be alone in it takes much of the fear away, and it becomes easier every time. Just some initial thoughts.

That's def you now, Pepper -- Oracle + Truth Teller! In chatting with @MicahRaine earlier about the fact that as we go through life's phases we do tend to hit each of these for a short time till we settle into our core personality.

Well, well, well... "The Oracle" and "The Hermit", huh? One might say that "The Arcana is the means by which all is revealed..."

In all seriousness, though, while I do believe I'm here in this world to serve a higher purpose (which is to do the bidding of God Almighty), my true, full strength is yet to be discovered. Being the Oracle sounds cool, but in order to be an effective Oracle, I'd have to be a Free Spirit, as well, and if I wanted to be a useful Oracle, I'd have to be a Truth Teller to begin with. As a man, I'm probably supposed to be a somewhat capable Warrior, as well... though being a Healer sounds even cooler. So... If You got my opening reference... I guess I'm supposed to be the Trickster, navigating the Palace of the contemporary Babylon and aiding whoever I find to still be capable of resistance in any way possible.

Oh I like this question. I don't necessarily believe humans have a higher purpose, but if I had to choose, I'm in between the Truth Teller and The Hermit. I tend to research in solitude, rationalize, and share "my truths". And whoever resonates with it might take something away from what I say.

I think certain people suffer heavily in life so they can gain the strength and wisdom to help others in similar situations who have weaker spirits/willpower. I think I'm a mix of Truth Teller and Warrior myself. I'm always defending other people and also very outspoken (which some folks like and some hate... oh well).

Yes, we are here to serve our divine Creator. The maker of Heaven and earth, our Redeemer, Restorer, Savior, Messiah, Maker, The Alpha and Omega, the beggining and the end. Our purpose here is to serve him and point as many as we can to him. To share his love and the gospel with the lost and dying world. To let people know that they don't have to be good enough to get to heaven, but just accept Christs redeeming love! His gift for us

I believe that a well-balanced person should be all of these things, displaying each trait at opportune moments. I try to be well-balanced :)

That said, if I had to diagnose myself I would go with The Free Spirit and The Healer

I agree that there's generally a period in our lives where we are each one, but our character ends up settling into a particular type or other.

I'd be more like the healer. Kind of goes with who I am and my career choice. I am a botanist and have hundreds of paper bags containing plants that I use for healing purposes... knowledge that was passed down to me via my ancestors.

I had a near death experience. When it happened something happened that I cannot explain. It made me think maybe I was saved for a purpose. Maybe I was supposed to invent something that will save mankind. It never happened but my son is a scientist who works with viruses. MYbe he will be the one to do it

I've been a warrior and a truth teller my whole life. The two both tend to piss people off, but that only matters if you have fucks to give about other people's opinions.

I don't accept criticism from people I wouldn't ask for advice. Simple philosophy that keeps me sane and so far has prevented me literally killing anyone.

Confused wanderer and healer here!!! I WAS Doing what i was born to do - teach HS history (the adult film star thing didn't quite work out) and im still suffering from pain of GBS but the loss of identity, paycheck, coworkers and kids have taken an immense toll on my psyche.
