I don't go to church. I think it's all bullshit, but I did go to a non-denominational church for my friend's dad's funeral a few years back. I think that was the least stupid church I've ever been to. Maybe you should try a few of those on your never-ending church hunt haha

One that teaches the Bible verse by verse and in its context, demonstrates that it practices what it preaches by doing things like helping the needy when possible, and does not have an "easy believism" doctrine. Lots of people think they are fine because they went forward at an altar call and said a "simple" prayer, but then continued to live just like they did before.

In Rural areas, a medium size mainstream Baptist church.
In Suburban or Urban areas, A PCA (not PCUSA) Presbyterian church.

@LiamJHayden We in it call ourselves The Frozen Chosen. In certain ways, PCA doctrine is far more conservative than Catholics.
