Would manifesting something extremely specific work?

I really like imagining stuff (meladative dreaming) and have been imagining about my dream guy for a while now. But because I’m constantly imagining about him I end up adding more characteristics to him. Now I want someone with extremely specific personality and physical appearance. I tried manifesting this dream guy for a couple of months now and even used incense but it’s not working. Is this because I’m want something too specific?

There’s a big difference between maladaptive daydreaming and manifesting, speaking as another maladaptive daydreamer and manifester. Daydreaming is fun, and can be used with manifestation, but it’s not only for that purpose. If that was the case, yours truly would already be a superhero lol
What you need to focus on is not what he looks like or trying to predict certain physical features but rather imagining he’s already there, that he’s already a part of your life. Not daydreaming about what you want and wishing he was there with you. That’s manifesting.
