Do you believe in karma the way Buddhists do?

My uncle was Buddhist and he told me in China, they did a research study of lottery winners to see how their lives turned out after winning the lottery. 100% of the people who spent the money on indulgences had horrible things happen to them after their lottery win. The only one who did not have terrible things happen to them was the one who gave their winnings to charity. Since it was money he did not earn, he decided it belonged to God and not him, and he donated 100% of his winnings. He was the only one who did not have horrible things happen to him after he won the lottery.

I believe that Karma is a force of Nature, just like Gravity.

Both good/positive and bad/negative energy sticks to a human mind like a glue, depending on previous actions.
