Actually the devil can't do anything without god's will, that goes for everything the devil does, whatever the devil does only happens cause god doesn't intervene as if God wanted to intervene then what the devil wants to do wouldn't matter, the thing is that Satan has already lost, satans fate is already sealed and even Satan himself knows it, his fate will be burning in a pit of fire, with that in mind Satan made it his own purpose to try to take as many humans with him as possible and because God gave us the free will to choose how you want to live he doesn't intervene if you are letting yourself get dragged down to hell based on your decisions, he gave us free will and the guidance and instructions on how to avoid hell, at the end of it all he still gifted you the choice to decide what path you want to take, God already know the end game, he's just waiting on us to catch up to that moment in time.

That shows true power considering God knows the end game and is just waiting for it to catch up to him, the devil himself is caught up in the essence of time, Satan is the only one that knows his own fate he just can't do anything about it cause his fate is sealed and that's God willingly sealed, imagine knowing you will be thrown in a pit of fire for destruction and the people you are trying to fool and drag down with you all have a ticket out of such punishments besides you, it's why I say to people to use the gift that was given to them and chooses wisely.

@ChicoFromThe305 "the devil can't do anything without god's will" I think you mean without God's permission. He had to ask God's permission to test Job. Job chapter 8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

9 So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse you to Your face!”

12 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So God gave Satan his permission to test Job. Without it Satan would not been able to do anything.

Satan, also known as Lucifer, got kicked out of Heaven and down to Earth. In the end, he is going to that nice place prepared for him, Hell. Couldn't happen to a nicer fella.
