Why doesn’t God destroy the Devil?

I feel like there has to be a balance of good vs evil at least as long as we are on earth. Once it ends then it will become eutopia or heaven. The devil is here to tempt us to do evil things and its up to us to resist him. It's a test that God has put upon us to see if we will be worthy to go to heaven.

Because mankind doesn't trust God to tell us what is right and wrong... Adam was tested and chose to know good and evil. We were given free will, we were put in charge of the garden, and we chose to know evil even though we were advised not to. We thought we could figure it out ourselves... So if you want to destroy the Devil, all you have to do is be good... Can you be good? Most of us can't even though we may try... Thus why we turn to the Messiah to save us from ourselves... He can crush the serpent's head...

Notice how everyone in the comments section wants to blame God rather than take responsibility, when it is us who wants to know evil... That's the problem... That's why the devil lives, because people keep choosing to believe evil over God with their own free will.

What does the serpent eat to survive? Dust... What is Adam made of? Dust... What happens when we die? We return to Dust... Why do we die? Because we chose to know evil... Yet the messiah who was good (God), pierce the skull of the serpent on the cross because he was good and thus was resurrected in a glorified eternal body... Thus not returning to Dust. If there is no Dust to feed the serpent, then the serpent can't be sustained...

According to JOB, Satan obeys God to the letter. Jews do not believe Satan is an evil being. That is a christian myth which first portrays satan as evil in the NT. Technically, Satan never provably lies in the Bible.

Maybe he can’t. Lucifer tried to take over heaven, that’s something a weak angel would consider trying. So Lucifer may be almost as powerful as God.

Maybe God is using Satan for His glory. Without Satan, there would be no wickedness in the world to compare against goodness
