Is the Catholic Church the only and truth religion and saints have special magic powers?

I am a former Catholic. When I was a little girl I used to believe in it. Going to church first communion ok. One of my family members got seriously chronic health issues sadly that family members past away. I remember each and every morning I would pray to the statue of Mary to please heal that person begging and crying. Nothing happened horrifying experience things happen to me. I remember my aunt would give me the song of the cross and nothing. I asked statue for the best health well being on my family members nothing no answer. My grandmother this morning told me that statues do perform miracles but I after my experience and I was hurt by the church Catholic people that I lost faith. If the Catholic Church is truth then why horrifying things happen?

1, according to catholic yes, they would torture people to force them, called inquisition, to accept the "truth".

1a, But i say no, as we see the reformation, criticized it, catholic is not truth.

If they pray to mary and they do they are not christian. Except in the category of census.

2 saints is a problem all are saints... you can't "select " a few martyrs from the rest.

Also no powers. If the soul is alive it can't grant prayers neither ancestors nor the holy mother.

The Bible clearly says that in order to be saved you must put your faith in Jesus. It doesn’t say you have to be part of a big organized religion like the Catholic Church. It also doesn’t say that you have to do any of the ceremonial things that Catholics believe you have to do. So first and foremost, put your faith in Jesus. Secondly, organized religion can be helpful if you have the right heart about it.

They are a legitimate version of Christianity, like Baptists. There are disagreements in doctrine but we all buy into John 3:16 and John 10:30

no. and where does it say the saints have Powers? what book and verse? there is far to much the Catholics do that goes against the bible. so no.

The saints and martyrs of the church are those Christians who evangdlised most of Christiandom. Their trials, lives and sacrifices are what we remember and try to be like.

@Gwendoline That has nothing to do with Saints having "powers". the bible says only pray to God in Jesus' name. not to saints, not to Mary, no one else. that's idolizing people.
