What did Jesus say you would have peace in him but trouble in this world?

I believe it means the people that God has rejected will hate, vilify, and attack you without cause because you represent a value system they have rejected and view as a rival to their own greed and material appetite. I have people in my family who were raised with secular belief systems and they love every one who is evil and hate every one who serves God. I also find the religious people I know are kinder than lambs while the people I know who worship money and competition are more confrontational than fruit flies.

I think that scripture goes hand and hand with what Jesus was saying.. That even though you live in a fallen world, that will bring you days full of trouble, he will bring you peace.. The peace you in him to tread through life..
