So I think what you might be trying to say is, is it possible that Jesus showed himself to ancient Asians and instead of recognizing him as Jesus they called him Buddha? Or did they actually recognize him as Jesus but other Asian philosophers changed him into Buddha? Both concepts could be entirely possible.
There was an ancient Chinese king who used to have visions of Jesus - having never been to the Middle East or heard anything about the Bible - but in his heart he knew Jesus to be true. He called him "Shang-di" and even built a temple to him in China. There are videos about this as well.
Recently, I just notice ever ethnic group in china has different angles to see it. Mongolia certainly played the role acrossing middle east. I think they know better. Like why russian called china Cathay still. When they rock and roll to middle east and Europe. The name might be changed. I think turk know better as well.
Russia still calls China Cathay? Yeah that's pretty antiquated. I'm not very well-versed in Mongolian history aside from Ghengis Khan of course, but nothing else.
If you ever want to take the time to watch this documentary, you should. Some people try to say it's irrelevant because it's coming from a Chinese church, but this church didn't make this stuff up, they got their info from real historical Chinese records.

The Buddha was not a Deity. He was a messenger and philosopher. A good one.
Jesus was all man, all G0d concurrently. You may dispute that but I don't care.
Gautama is Indian, Jesus is Israeli.
How could they are the same? 🙄🙄🙄

Different century and different lessons.
Buddha was long before jesus and tried to liberate hindu from the caste sytstem. Budha predicted the end of budhism in 500 years! Omg either way! If he is right... obey budha! Budhism expired and jesus was just in time. Otherwise budha was wrong and did not know spiritual stuff.
No, Buddha was Asian, whilst Jesus was Middle-Eastern by ethnicity.
Buddha came from middle-eastern too but was stepped over by Alexander and mulsim.. etc
so it might be
Buddha was born in Nepal, that's not Middle East, that's between India and China.
ok I just said roughly. maybe I mean buddhlism or buddhist after buddha. So Greek took it to Greece or turk take it to there.
Greeks had Zeus, Turks are Muslims, their religions are not similar to Buddhism.
Persians had close contact with Buddhism.
However middle eastern is mixed in my head and those ancient countries names were differnt from now. So I can not tell it but greece history records it too
What Greek god reminds you of Buddha?
buddha should have no statue but greek's artist would do that. I just think the same with the mongol
about why the hairstyle different with easten asia's.
the statue I post was ealier than China's in middle east.
Greek artists usually had statues of gods who were muscular, Buddha never had such a statue.
no, not even close.
