Despite our Lady of the worthless miracles attempts, I have not found Jesus as most Christians understand him or think they do.
I did find however a mortal man's alleged teachings that are inspirational and the literature, art, architecture, and culture created to glorify that person is, no pun intended, miraculous.
Most self-professed Christians wouldn't recognize Jesus if he appear today and if they did they would want to deport him as a commie.
You don't try very hard. What makes you say they think they do? Are you one to believe that only those like you can know ones own mind? How foolish to think you have discovered all there is. Yes, He did make somewhat of an impact. For two thousand years and reaching the entire globe now Christianity grows. That seems impossible without supernatural input, wouldn't you say?

I have yet to understand how people killing an innocent man 2000 years ago has ANYTHING to do with vanquishing sins! And, if that's the case, WHY are there STILL SO MANY sins committed every day and sinners running loose to commit them? If god is all-powerful, WHY can't it eradicate ALL sin, hatred and disease? I would've said, that it is not possible for all to benefit from christ because some humans are real NPCs lacking a spirit. The soul is to the spirit in relation of its function, what the body is to the soul. So the spirit is higher, and obviously the thing that would differentiate us.
It's not accurate, but close enough, when people say that the soul is what feels and senses (because the physical body is just chemical reactions, there's no way to physically quantify sensation or sense perception by chemicals). And that the spirit thinks.

only man has a certain type of individualized soul with ego, but one higher-than-matter aspect that is easiest to generalize with the souls, is animating the physical body and enabling sense perception, which obviously animals have.

I could only 'get' God/Christ is a matter of the heart. I didn't get it as a rationally (apologetics, making sense of verses) until got it emotionally... and that is the core issue from early Bible, separation from God.. connection. It's Jesus recorded history... bring others to God... those suffering and outcast, their hearts are ripe. Greater our intellect or hardened emotional blockage, harder it is to overcome. I learned that seeing my father suffer w losing a child, and finding God decades after. That's just human challenge it seems, true of anything emotional. If God is love, love is control. Submission to that may not feel good when we seem to lack power over it's course. But if you look back on life to do it over, wouldn't you be more fully present, powerful in love in the moment and take that to eternity? It seems the only thing worthy and that sums up the message to me. I'm confident God won't end the pursuit, but each has a different ear and finding the message that resonates to the heart is unique to each. Billy Graham was good at that.

I've recently pondered how a Guy could have such an impact on the world these past two millenia without supernatural power. With what He did when here but more so since.
@dongie he gave people what we really want eternally right? We have to deal with this world and it's powers but push comes to shove, most people just want ______. It's unfortunate there's so many bariers to Christ, but Jesus delivered a solid solution. If it's fabrication or imagination, it's the most brilliant one in history of psychology and humanity. I don't see it as fabrication... people wouldn't die for a lie. There's a little room for error in those early believers and crafters of text, but they did the work over decades to jump over the damaged human ego. The rest is up to us.
If I had a better plan Id introduce it. There isn't one. We should focus on how to be better representatives in the moment, for benefit of others, that's at least my heart. Peace!
