Church is in session. 11 Reply- 7 mo

Not any longer, the Church of England has changed too much, It is no longer focused on Christianity, instead it now focuses on Islam,
It is strange that this was predicted in an episode of 'Yes Prime Minister' - S1. E7 The Bishops Gambit 1986 -

7 moBefore 2020, I attended Church every Sunday, minus the days I was sick. But the reason why I don't anymore is because Church is supposed to be like an extended Christian family. Nobody ever cared about me, and they didn't care enough to let me become friends with them. While Covid was the thing that got me out of Church, the attitude of the people caused me not to go back. :'(

@WonderingManII care to share the branch of Christianity - doesn't have to be brand name lol to avoid legal 💼

@NicholasRedone It was both Wesleyan type and Baptist.
I just find it irrelevant. That's not to say that I don't have spiritual beliefs. But nothing that is said in church grabs me. I guess the real religiosity is inwards, anyway.

7 mo@sojust not for many many years - my last church so to speak was thankfully a "aspiring to wanting to be a progressive Church, though it was just one church" aka "the local parish was progressive sort of, or open to it, the big boss church, shrug + policy is policy* lol - remember this is way back in the 2010s

@sojust the equivalent of an Episcopal church ; if you American then you know it's like the church of England type of Protestant

@Hellraiser1984 sounds like the opening line to "📖📚 so the sales man goes to me 'have you heard about the prophet" and something about the desert that strangely had no mentions of Israel except "how awesome is mosque lifestyle" lol I'm obviously making light hearted about how there's always all religions wanting more followers from Judaism to Christianity to Islam to Buddhism they always want more followers lol 😆😂

@Hellraiser1984 hell often a religion should be given a trophy any and all religions for 101 in marketing 101 lol 😆 they could write the subject of marketing even advertising even
