Is the purpose of life to have fun? Or for such complex lives it can't be that simple? Why are we alive in whatever city?

We're designed to worship. The design has been corrupted, but I've never met anyone who didn't worship something.

"Fun" is simply worship of self.

Worship is whatever you sacrifice for. And the things some people worship are truly pathetic.

You worship your job, sacrificing family, time, health for a company that will replace you within a week.

Personally, I try to worship Christ to the best of my ability and show my son that actually doing that makes me infinitely stronger than people guess when they meet me.

But the purpose of Worship is Relationship. That's why sacrificing for money, fame, or just to watch a game ultimately isn't worth it.

I think everyone has to make this decision for themselves.

Ecclesiastes 1:18, which essentially says the more knowledge you gain the greater your sorrow will be.

We as humans are driven (some more than others) to gain knowledge and understand the world around us. But in many ways the more we complicate our world in doing so. But this knowledge leads to life saving medical treatments etc.

I PERSONALLY think everyone should just follow thier passions and live a life that fits thier strengths (if at all possible). Because I personally think that's the path that gives your life the most and the most joy. But that is my opinion.
