Is becoming a Christian man a trend that is bringing in fake Christians?

I’m a devoted Christian, and I’ve observed that many guys around my age say they’re Christian, but some don’t act in accordance with that faith. I believe social media has contributed to this issue with influencers often using religion to promote a high value women mentality.

These supposed men of god drink every weekend, lust after women by focusing on their bodies, are unmotivated, and spend excessive time online while following many questionable women. Is this really what it means to follow the teachings of God? Thankfully, I grew up in a Christian household and have had the opportunity to see what it means to be a Christian family man that can have flaws, but is evidently following the teachings of god.

Jesus listens to every heart and mind and will only bless true believers. A lot of people will use him and if they truly repent they shall be forgiven but repentence is something very deeply felt in the soul.

That's a very thoughtful view. True repentance indeed comes from deep within and reflects true belief. It’s about transformation and sincerity in one's relationship with Jesus.

I’m talking about the men that always talk about high value women and use the justification of being Christian, but when it comes to other things they don’t act Christian. They only use the word of God when they find it convenient.

I can't speak for all men. I can just give you my life experience. I'm 46 years old and still single. I was raised in a Christian home. I still live with my parents. I struggle with a learning disability. Back in 1986 I was just 6 years old and my Dad lead me to Christ. I have been a believer ever since. But the Christian life is not an easy one. It isn't easy for anyone. I already stated that I have a learning disability which adds another layer of issues on top of it. When I was young, I thought I would be a good Christian and do no wrote. Don't lie, Don't steal, Don't cuss, Don't smoke, Don't Drink, and don't look at Porn.

Before puberty a boy has no idea how strong that sex drive is. By the age of 12 I was lusting and masturbating before I even knew what those two things were! By the age of 19 I was trying to carefully confess this embarrassing problem to two of my pastors. I even went forward at church and was anointed with oil and people laid hands on me and prayed for my problems. Those problems included my problems with the way I think, and my sexual problem.

As I said before, I am 46 years old. Over the years I have prayed more times than I can count for help with this. But it is one of those things that just keeps coming back. I think the reason is, when you confess to Jesus, and ask him to save you, to come and give you the holy spirit. That becomes apart of your soul, but it does not change your body. We struggle with our flesh until we die...

God designed our bodies to have sex with a Woman. It's been that way since the very beginning. That desire is like a hunger, you eat something and your satisfied until you get hungry again. There is a lot more I could share but I don't want to go on since this is a chunk to read, and GAG has a character limit.

If you read the description, I do say everyone or Christian men can have flaws. But if you’re going to bring up harsh judgement, you can speak of men that disguise themselves as a Christian men who constantly talk down about women. I have my own struggles and I am always working towards being better. There’s a difference, I can understand people having struggles, but there are these men who sin in many ways.

Im agnostic and have no problem with religious people what I hate is religious people who suddenly become devout after acting like they weren’t religious and then judging other people for doing the same thing they did , met Christians like this twice

I have met people like this too. The least they can do is help people find God by being understanding and not by pretending they’re perfect and have done no wrong. I’m happy people can convert and charge their life, but there should also be a form of understanding for others especially if they have struggled in the past with similar issues.
