What do you think of the light that is actually darkness?

Jesus said to make sure the light inside you is not darkness.

What I get out of that is, to make sure you do not use your religion as an excuse to hate or sabotage the salvation of others.

Your religion should be used as an excuse to love and change others, so that they give up their shameful immorality and become virtuous role models.

Religion should not be used as an excuse to multiply the ignorance and weakness of fragile and vulnerable people by sabotaging their morals and exploiting their capacity to sin with new, intentionally set up temptations.
