Weird dream I had as a kid?

when i was around 6 years ago, i went in my room to take a nap. i “woke” up about a hour or two later and saw a man standing in my doorway to my room, but it was dark in my room so i couldn’t see who he was. at first i thought it was my grandfather so i called his name and he never spoke back. just staring at me. then this “shadow” turns around and walks into the living room. Me being curious, I get out of my bed and walk in there too and see my grandfather sitting on the couch so again, I call his name. No answer. Then his head starts spinning around and around and I can hear him crying for help so I start crying too then I hear a man’s voice laughing like a deep voice just laughing at me while I’m crying. I’ve been curious all these years as of what this experience was. Was it a dream? Did I encounter a demon? Also to add, other people who have lived in my house after me have seen a man that looks like my grandfather walking around. Could this be some kind of demon?

If you believe in God, then you need to believe in demons. But I don’t think a demon would show himself to a child for no reason or benefit to the demon.


I as a child was put to bed but the door was left open a crack. I could see tv through the crack (I’m sure no one else knew that). They were watching the “crawling eye” old 60s horror movie.
I fell asleep watching it. Later I woke up to big gorillas standing around my bed just looking at me. I screamed and then I woke up for real, in the dark, in my bed. Yes it was a dream inside of a dream like I believe you had.
