I tend not to "believe". Belief is a mental attitude of acceptance toward a proposition without the full intellectual knowledge required to guarantee its truth.
I have been led to believe many things that turned out to be utter fabrications.

And beliefs don't even have to be based on logic. After all, many phobias like ophidiophobia (fear of snakes) are based on belief. I knew a highly regarded cardiologist who was terrified of humming birds as a result of a childhood belief that they would attack your eyes with their beaks.
Bigotry is also based on belief.
Beliefs are internalized and trigger emotions. When they are challenged, cognitive dissonance results.

Things that I think are true are my "opinions". I hold some of them strongly. But I maintain an open mind and am willing to delve into alternative information as long as it is unbiased, well researched and documented.

People like me are branded "conspiracy theorists" for asking questions, employing logic and looking for flaws in narratives. I am on the lookout for manipulation tactics like emotionalism, loyalty, or popular consensus.

I modify or change my "opinions" as I learn more. That, to me, is difference between beliefs and opinions.

I question the existence of gods or the supernatural. I have no idea if there is an afterlife.
I think all living things are sentient. I like the idea that sentient creatures are the universe observing itself.
I send words and thoughts of love, encouragement, appreciation and gratitude to trees, plants, and all creatures.
I feel awe, gratitude and wonder for all creation.
I tend to think that the universe is infinite and eternal. Therefore, it didn't need a creator.
But hey, I could be wrong. LOL

I'm somewhere in the middle. I don't believe in any specific god from a religion. I'm just open to the concept of there being a greater being or power that we do not understand and cannot comprehend with our limited minds. It's like asking an ant to understand human technology. Who knows though? Maybe AI will debunk it soon.

Right now, I simply lean towards the idea of reincarnation and the concept of different planes of existence.

I believe all religions are control mechanisms for stupid people who live in constant fear of everything they don't understand and can't control. None of their "Gods" are real. And at their root, religions are about power just like politics. I believe humans are a long way from understanding the true nature of the universe.  Examples : We still don't know what causes a gravitational field. We cannot reconcile Newtonian Physics, Relativity, and Quantum theory. We don't know what happens to the laws of physics inside the event horizon of a black hole. The James Webb space telescope is forcing us to rethink the "Big Bang" and "Expansion" theories of the birth of the universe.  I believe gaps in human knowledge do not automatically equal "God". We thought the world was flat at one time. Then we thought the Earth was the center of the universe. We are still learning. Based on the available evidence I believe humans adapt to new technology 1,000 times faster than they are capable of adapting to sociological change. Wars are part of our social legacy. And for that reason we are now monkeys with nukes who will probably wipe ourselves out of existence at some point. I believe that "the battle between the sexes" is not going to change substantially any time soon. Again, we don't handle that sort of change well based on our history. I believe in the scientific method, observation, data, analysis, and logic to define reality as we are capable of understanding it. I believe religion and theology will always prevent humanity moving on from the dark ages. Moving on invalidates the lies of the religion. I believe 90% of human progress is driven by 10% of humans. I believe 90% of humans are basically just trying to live their lives in peace and security. But in that approach they become sheep who are easily manipulated. I believe 10% of humanity are the source of 90% of the needless suffering resulting from greed that ends in wars.

I am however a believer in myself

Because even as a believer in a higher power I know that higher power put in me all that I would need to face everything life throws at me

In trying times I can lose faith because it feels like the world is ganging up against me

But I can’t be a complete non believer
Because that would create way too many questions that are impossible to answer

I do religious traditions for fun and dive to learn more of it from time to time although not from a religious standpoint.

As you mentioned you subscribe to facts, numbers, refuse to give it a person or name.
Fits me perfectly. Doesn’t stop me from saying “Oh God!” or “Jesus Christ!” LMAO.

That's a very broad question and so answer it-
If is about religion then no I am a non believer.
But if it is about people especially the ones I know then yes I am believer.
Or if it is about oneself then I do believe in myself 60 percent of the time.

I believe some things and don't believe others. I'm pretty sure that makes me neither a believer or a non-believer.

Perhaps if the question had more context... for example, a Flat Earth... I could pick one or the other.
