Have you ever been misled about God by a toxic or fake Christian?

As a teenager I was afraid to seek God because an evil and malicious bible leader who was jealous my life was easier than his, would always try to ruin my relationship with God by telling me you cannot serve God without suffering extreme torment and agony and having no happiness at all during your life while you are alive.

Ben Sira says the suffering of saved people who go to heaven is temporary, and the book of Psalms says that once you repent from your sins, you know your suffering will one day end. And the book of proverbs says the mature that do not commit sin do not suffer at all.

Jesus said if you are gracious and forgiving and merciful and kind, God will treat you with grace and kindness, and your suffering will always be moderate or low key and not severe.

And the Torah Books of Moses say that God boosts your strength when you obey and seek God so that you will have the courage and endurance to survive anything that comes your way, and Moses also said God cures your disease when you seek or serve or worship God.

Proverbs says God protects you from danger when you listen to wisdom and do not become arrogant or proud.

And the Torah says God drives out your enemies so there will be no violent or lying person around to terrorize you in your life.

I believe that a lot of us are being misled even now without knowing, that's the message being spread nowadays
