What does the Bible really teach about Israel, Judah, honor, and humility?

The bible says the honour of Israel must not exceed that of Judah:

Which means, your praise and favour must not exceed your humility or your conscience and dedication or you sacrifice or your piety.

Because if your honour exceeds your conviction, you will become arrogant and corrupt. This is why God sometimes builds you up from a place of shame, so you learn humility before you learn power.
