It's an original faith. Monotheism, altruism and reciprocity - that is Islam in a nutshell.

It's why it's the only faith that is growing in the world. You can have a Japanese Muslim, a White American Muslim, or a Chinese Muslim. They speak different languages, have different opinions and political ideologies. You would think they have nothing in common.

But one of the beauties of Islam is that it has no "church" or "clergy". Everyone is an individual that believes in monotheism, believes in their small part of doing good, and encouraging better in the world.

It's why some of the best people you will ever meet today are often Muslim.
