If muslims would not be punished for leaving islam, what percent would stay?

we all know what happens to people who were muslim but change. how parents and past friends react.

in fact Leaving Islam, known as apostasy (ridda), is considered a severe crime in Islam. in some countries: Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Brunei, Iran, Maldives, Mauritania, Yemen more than 5 have death penalty for openly Leaving Islam. so people pretend.

but how many? considering people can't leave openly, visibly, and considering their strict rules- how many would stay? if muslim country all obeyed quran 2:256 'no compulsion forcing in faith".

around 10% would still stay

It's the contradiction of the Quran. It tells it's believers to "go to the scriptures that came before" but also says, "If you believe what jews and Christians tell you, we'll kill you."

Where as the Bible says, "God gives all mankind free will, but if you choose Jesus you will be spared from hell."

One religion preaches fear of God while the other says you're free to do as you wish, just understand the consequence of your choice.

true. quran even said the 'writings of jesus and moses are good and light'.
then muslims read it and this- ask themselves 'why teacher sheek/imam said bible got ruined?' that is against quran "they are good and light.' so-
some stop believe teacher but obey quran- to accept the good light of bible. that said jesus died for our sins.
