Am I meant to stay away from ugly, hateful, spiteful, vengeful thoughts if I am a Christian?

Sometimes i imagine taking revenge on people who has done bad things to me and i can't stop thinking about to seeing them hurt.

Although i don't act on these ideas, i am still worried that they might contradict the message of Jesus. Thank you.

but They are just thoughts. so think about something else. think how the bible said "god will take revenge so you must not" you should not feel hate. but temptation will always happen. so redirect and turn yourself.

like all those critics can't know what we feel. they say we HATE gay. but they don't know if we feel hate or something different. we are taught not to be angry and not to hate so most of us obey.

All religions are there to cope with mommy and daddy issues.

All cope is an emergency exit to avoid healing. The cope is initiated by the trauma and ensures that the trauma stays.

Healing is when you stop the cope.
