Why are some Christians calling dinosaurs demons when we have fossils?

[Kassandra1994]

Yes, the Bible mentions dragons in several passages, though older translations use the word more often than modern ones. Where the Word AppearsKing James Version (KJV): The word "dragon" or "dragons" appears more than 20 times in the Old and New Testaments. Modern Translations: Newer Bibles usually translate the original Hebrew and Greek words as "jackal," "serpent," "monster," or "viper" instead of dragon. Old Testament ReferencesIn the Hebrew text, the word most often translated as dragon is tannin, which can mean a large sea creature, serpent, or land monster. Ezekiel 29:3: God compares the Pharaoh of Egypt to a "great dragon" lying in the rivers, symbolizing a powerful and proud ruler. Psalm 74:13: The writer says God broke the heads of the "dragons in the waters," referring to sea monsters. Job 40 and 41: The Bible describes massive creatures like Leviathan and Behemoth. While not named dragons here, their descriptions include immense strength, scales, and fiery breath, which later inspired traditional dragon myths. New Testament ReferencesThe Book of Revelation uses the dragon as a direct symbol for spiritual evil. Revelation 12:9: John explicitly identifies the dragon: "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world."Literal or Metaphorical? Most biblical scholars view these creatures as symbols for chaos, wicked human empires, or Satan. However, some literal creationist groups suggest these texts might describe real giant reptiles or dinosaurs that lived during biblical times.

Christians are stupid people who have been trained since birth to believe fairy tales and reject reality as the work of "the devil". They have been trained to believe a book of lies rather than their own eyes. And they have been trained to hate.

Dinosaurs go against their theory about how long ago God created earth. They don't like proof against it.

[Paige2006]

I have never heard that and the Christians I know don't believe it.

[BadApple69]

How about NOT Christian people. How about stupid people. And they come in all religions and atheist too.
I’ve been a Christian all my life and I’ve never heard any other Christians call dinosaurs demons.

Actually the dinosaurs existed in the second page of Genesis before God created man in the 2nd chapter, the dinosaurs existed between verses 21 and verse 31of Chapter 1.

Wow, using the Bible to prove dinosaurs existence, quite the plot twist!

Let's have a moment with KJV then:
"So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves [...] and every winged bird according to its kind. [...] Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind” [...]."

It's a really big stretch to think of dinosaurs here, isn't it? But I enjoyed the plot twist

Religion is nutty in the first place. Here is the evidence.

[Dargil]

Never heard that. We call them Beasts Of The Field.

[jahaims]
