He is the laid back type who cracks jokes and cares about the feelings of others. He works in construction, and often appears "rugged" with his work boots and dirty jeans, and a plaid shirt; however, he has very youthful face and certain "young" features that add a certain vulernerabilty to him. He is a virgin, and has only had one girlfriend his whole life. He has a history of depression, and often has a tendency to procrastinate. But feels that his struggles and insecurities has made him a more empathetic person. He enjoys cooking and building his own furniture. He enjoys the simple things in life and wouldn't hesitate to watch a rom com or read a book on the couch with you.

I've been without a friend for about 5 years now and I think it's mainly because I'm a bit of a complicated person. I'm outspoken yet so quiet most of the time, I'm so warm towards others in one moment but then ice cold the next, I don't see that I owe any loyalty to anyone besides my girlfriend and I aggressively avoid attaching myself to others.

My inner workings aren't very predictable by those aside from those who know me deeply of which only one person meets the bill on that, my girlfriend. She can sense when something is wrong even when I'm trying to hide it in an attempt to avoid adding stress to her day, and I'm the same with her, she doesn't even need to say a word before I know something is bothering her and address it immediately.

To paint a picture, I've looked for her my entire life, turning every stone and I've described it as being dumped on a planet made out of trash and fecal matter. On the planet contains many microscopic pieces of fools diamonds but the planet also contains one real diamond and that real diamond is her.

I believe making friends would only cause me to lose time I could otherwise spend with my girlfriend and eventually, he'll try to steal her from me since she's one of the only good women left in the world and the number is in the single digits, so it would bring conflict.

I also wouldn't be able to connect with them as the only time I feel positive emotions is when I'm with her, I'm incapable of feeling any positive emotions when she isn't around.

My girlfriend is the only person in the world that I care about and she's my everything, so making friends would only drive a wedge between me and her which is the last thing I'd want.

Would you date someone with no friends?

That basically describes me. I don't necessarily hate people (I do have constant skepticism towards people in general) in general but I am a massive introvert who is a bit socially awkward and emotionally cold on the surface out in public but behind closed doors alone between me and my hypothetical SO, I'm a very huge touchy feeling affectionate guy with a woman once that woman has completely earned my trust to be in a serious relationship.

I don't know if that would make me fall under the "shy guy" category since I don't randomly go around trying to pick up women. The only time I pick up girls is when I'm at parties with a few trustworthy friends.
