So I'm planning this road trip for my girlfriend and I and we both love animals! On our way to our destination, there's this wildlife rehabilitation center where the nurse wildlife back to health and release them back into the wild. I really wanted to surprise her with a stop there to take a tour of the place and see all the animals but I'm just not sure if seeing the injured and rehabilitated animals will make her sad for seeing what they went through or really happy for seeing how this center gives them a second chance at life.

So, three years ago, I met this amazing girl on a school trip to Europe. We slowly started the get to know one another and kept flirting until we were holding hands and I was letting her use my shoulder as a pillow during long bus rides. We couldn't believe that we lived 40 minutes apart but we met all the way across the world! so at the airport I slipped a note into her suitcase telling her how much the past 10 days meant to me and saying how I was serious about that date I had promised her and we'd be in touch when we get back home.

Since that first date, we also have been on many road trips and have shared lots of amazing memories. From going to see concerts or walking through waist deep snow for half an hour each way to go spend some time alone in our family cottage...

I know that it takes much more than just memories to make a relationship work, but do you think that little memories like this can truly help a couple stay together?
