A girl I fell in love with fell for someone else. Now I don't care that she rejected me, If she's happy awesome but 2 things that hurt me the most is that when I started to fall for her I told her how i felt and even asked her if she wanted to be with me. She said yes but she needed time to heal over her breakup which happened that week. It hurts because I told her to be honest and tell me no if it was the truth, But she said she wanted me and I fell hard, we flirted and everything like a couple only we wern't then I found out she started dating someone else and when I asked her about us she acted naive towards it, like she never knew and had the nerve to tell me i shouldn't be mad and she wants to stay friends. The 2nd problem is the guy she's with. We dislike eachother very much, it's been this way for years and I told her how much we were against eachother and how i wanted nothimg to do with him, yet she had the nerve to be with him and when I aked why all she said was that our rival
had nothing to
do with her and laughed. She has been trying to make me feel guilty saying if I leave her ill be no diffrent then every other guy who liked her and who dated her who left her as a friend when they got rejected or broke up. Is she right? It's not that she rejected me. Its that she lead me on even though i gave her a chance to be honest about her feelings with me and she's dating a guy i want nothing to do with. What do i do? Any advice helps

We're both 18 in HS

Too long of a backstory to explain, but both my best friend and I both became single recently and I realized I liked her and she told me she'd think about it but wants to be single for now (again this is all 1000% her telling the truth, thats the backstory i dont feel like explaining)

Anyway onto my problem:
Some drama happened between me and her, where I heard she was lying to me for a month straight about "thinking about dating" and i called her out on it and said some NASTY stuff. i just didn't care. My best friend I trusted with everything suddenly lying to me? Yeah I was furious. I found out later though in the end she never was lying to me and actually was thinking about it.. but me being impulsive i said nasty stuff and REALLY hurt her

Couple days after that argument she told me straight to my face she doesn't want anything. i apologized as much i could and asked for one last chance, but nothing happened. HOWEVER over a couple weeks after that, i began to explain my thought process of being mad at her and i apologized more and admitted i was wrong, and she's begun to listen to me.

One thing I texted her, which was recent, was
Me: "You said you care a lot about me but im just asking for one small favor considering I've done so much for you as a friend over the past couple years. why can't you just give me one last chance?"
Her: Because i'm a petty b*tch. Dont get me wrong, I forgive you but i dont forget stuff

Week after that I texted her "Hey i hope you're thinking about things because you're really the only girl for me" and she replied "You know i dont like talking about relationships"

She never answered my question on one last chance or not though and im not sure what to do? Should i eventually confront her on whether she'll give me one last chance or what do i do?
