Search Results: how a guy treats his mother

I was in love with my first ex for two years. He treated me like crap during these two years and I stopped being in love with him when I dated my second ex. My ex's brother usually shows up to my workplace to eat with friends (no big deal as he and I are friendly). I use to text him every other day with love messages (I know it was a while back, I changed) and nearly a year ago I stopped. Cut off contact completely and stopped giving him ANY attention. Last thing I said to him was that I would wait for him.

Nearly a year later his mother and aunt showed up at my restaurant (his mother knows I work here and has visited before to eat), I attended them politely and watched them sit in a booth where the mother stared at me for a bit before I went to do other tasks. My ex showed about ten minutes later. When he saw me from a distance he smiled at me before going to see his mother at her booth. He had his back to me and just talked to her for a good half hour. didn't order any food or anything. Then he left (without looking or say anythnig to me) WITHOUT them. They left later.

It seems awfully suspicious but because I tend to over analyse things, I am asking you guys, was it a coincidence or not?

Extra info:
1) He could have just texted/called her.
2) His brother could have came instead of him.
3) He use to hide from me a year ago.
