I have always made twice the income of my wife. Never thought twice about that and always bought her what she liked as long as I could afford it. I always paid all the house bills and car maintenance, insurance and what not. She would save her money and use for vacations and fun stuff. Just recently she got a large sum of money from her parents to buy a new home (mine is too small for when her parents want to stay with us). I didn’t care for the idea but you do what you have to do the wife stays happy. I agreed that the new house wouldn’t be mine but she needs my name on a bank loan to get it (we didn’t get all the money needed yet from her parents). All good so far. Now here is where the question comes in... she asked me the other day if we can write up an agreement that states that I have no claim to this house if we were to break up? I was mortified! The house we live in is mine 100% paid for by me but the law says because we have been together more then 7 years she owns half (and I’m ok with that)... In my mind whatever was mine was hers... but as soon as she has something of value she wants me to sign paperwork to protect her interests... what’s your thoughts on this?

who assume any new technology or new thing in general is something only "Liberals" would buy and use?

I have an Tesla Model 3 car and whenever I drive by many ICE-powered cars driven by men in their 40s or older, they often give me a nasty look as if I'm just another douchy millennial who's a tree-hugging "leftist" that's out of touch from the real world and is incapable of maintaining ICE-powered vehicles.

I could care less about the environment, what car people drive (whether ICE or EVs) or politics as I'm the furthest thing from a "leftist", lol. I buy electric cars because they're much more convenient for me in budgeting money and maintenance because I pay more than enough bills already for college tuition, auto insurance and my appartment. I can maintain ICE cars, I just hate shelling out extra money and time for replacing parts like alternators, radiators, oil filters, and so on.

I am going to buy a new car, and.. The thing is - I want it to be sporty, luxurious and off-road capable... (and even get chicks lmao)... So should I buy a range rover as an all in one luxury, sporty, off roading vehicle, or get a luxury sports car (like a BMW M5) and get a shit ass off roader separatly?

So I just moved in my new house not too long ago and I got a membership at a nearby gym, but I don't really like the cardio equipment at the gym, they have the best weight lifting equipment, but only the standard cardio equipment (treadmills, elliptical, etc.) so I invested a couple thousand dollars into a cardio based gym in my 1 car garage and I park my car in the driveway, so I do the weight lifting portion of my workout at the gym and the cardio portion in my garage. I'm thinking about dating sometime and I'm wondering if I get a girlfriend and she moves in with me would she be upset that she has to park her car in the driveway (2 car driveway)? I'm willing to buy a canopy for the driveway.
