Search Results: should i ask a busy guy out

I’m with this guy he lives a train ride away but we’ve only seen each other once. We don’t video call but we text all the time. We made a plan for me to visit him two weeks from now. I got irritated and said I don’t think we should be friends anymore after I asked if he would like to have a video call today because I could clearly see he was sitting on the couch doing nothing. Then he said no because he’s not alone and I should do that if that’s what I want (the not being friends anymore).

How should I respond, he never makes an effort?

I asked this before as a general question, but then thought I should have done it as a poll. Sorry if read and/or replied to the first one.

There is this guy at work who is apparently usually really confident and pretty flirty, but is always kind of awkward around me.

He barely looks me in the eye, but I’m nearly positive that I’ve seen him looking at me out of the corner of my eye.

He took several months to speak to me (other than saying ‘good morning’ once or twice) but is always friendly to me, and seems to stick around for a bit whenever he sees me.

He finally properly introduced himself to me the other day and looked me in the eye and said it was nice to meet me - doesn’t sound like much, I know, but this guy never looks me in the eye! Even if we are having a conversation!

Once he had finally introduced himself, he suddenly kept appearing for the rest of the day - when I don’t usually see him that often. It just seemed a bit too coincidental.

He did ask me what I was doing after work once, but I was busy, then when I asked him the same thing, he answered in a kind of awkward and overly casual way that he was free.

He told me about himself, his home town/state, his interests, and his friends in the first conversation - probably nothing, but I now know more about him and his background than several people on my own team.

I’ve definitely noticed him, but as I don’t really know him yet I wouldn’t go as far to say I like him. I guess I just want to know if he’s noticed me too. I’m great at reading guys when it is my friends they are/are not interested in, but am terrible when it comes to me.

I have a guy that comes into my work and buys snacks all the time. He’s peaked my interested in the “looks like a teddy bear” kind of way. I’m 20 and he looks maybe 29-32ish. We haven’t really been able to talk because I’m super busy half the time he comes in and the other half someone else cashes him out. I don’t even know his name but I really want to ask him out or even give him my number!
I told my co-worker about it and she says that handing him a note with my number would be weird since we don’t even know anything about him (name, relationship status, etc…) she also says that it could be bad because when we do get to talk he seems really shy… but we don’t really talk it’s like a single question and his respond, then im pulled away.
I feel like you never know and I should just go for it? I’m nervous but I’m more nervous not doing anything. What do you think?

We have a common friend and often see each other at his place at parties etc. He generally is nice to me, smiles, comes to me to talk to me and asks questions about me, gives me long gazes with smiles, once he even said in front of everyone that “he really loved me” because I always smile, etc. I like him and since I thought I was getting very positive signs, I asked him to go out for a drink just the two of us. He always said that he thought it was a cool idea, however every time I proposed him a day and time he said he was busy (it’s been a few months now…). I thought it meant he didn’t want to, but than when we see each other he goes like “shall we try to go for a drink the next week?”. But the next week, he doesn’t propose a date or if I do, he says he’s already busy…
