I asked for a video call and he always says he’s busy or he’s not alone. How should I respond?

I’m with this guy he lives a train ride away but we’ve only seen each other once. We don’t video call but we text all the time. We made a plan for me to visit him two weeks from now. I got irritated and said I don’t think we should be friends anymore after I asked if he would like to have a video call today because I could clearly see he was sitting on the couch doing nothing. Then he said no because he’s not alone and I should do that if that’s what I want (the not being friends anymore).

How should I respond, he never makes an effort?

Honestly when to people met and really want to be together they make it as easy as possible for each to find ways to each other happy. This is especially important in long distance relationships. I talk to my girl friend every day... and we see each other every weekend. She stays for the entire weekend. We don't really text each other that much and we do not do video calls... but talk every day for at least 30 minutes or more.

So no it does not sound like he is serious and that he is the right guy for you, and if you are having these types of feelings then you are absolutely doing the right thing... because he is probably not the one for you.

Man I hate people like that. I had a similar experience texting my neighbor to set up a party and she ghosted my text didn't even respond after three times! I visited her in person and she got defensive and made a bullshit excuse about being busy. Yeah right just rude and completely lacking in manners. Fuck them both.

2. Said if that's what you want (to not be friends) then go for it.
