Search Results: girls are picky about how a guy should look

For instance, if you are walking with someone (friend or potential life partner) and they
1) spit a loogie on the floor (with or without the preceding throat sounds)
2) scratch their balls in public
3 ) pick their nose
4) burp extremely loud... like not even covering their mouth, or looking away from you, and they intentionally make it heard like it's no issue

I find these things a total turn off and disgusting. I really think there needs to be some decency in public and in private in general. It makes it difficult for me to see him as a gentleman and as a man in general. It's embarassing and I often don't want to be associated with them especially if they do 1,2 & 4. I don't mind a fart lol, or even a burp even now and then... but even those should be given courtesies such as a warning or at least an attempt to cover up. If it slips every now and then, it's not so bad... but when it becomes a habit, its like I'm walking with white trash.

Also, just out of curiosity... if the guys seem to think I'm being picky... What if the girl was doing these things? Would guys not mind it at all?

So, I just started working this new job and there is this guy I think is pretty dope. He's cute, funny and kinda weird like me. We get along and talk but I know that he just sees me as a friend. I know that I'm not his type because honestly I'm not anyone's type. I don't really have any ugly features but I'm not pretty. I mean I've tried to wear a little make up now and then but it never really makes a difference in the way I look. And in order for me to actually have any results that I might actually like I'd have to basically change my whole appearance. Which is not something I want to do. When someone steps to me I want them to do it because they see me as I am. I don't wear make up mostly because I'm hella lazy (I can't do a wing tip to save my life) I don't wanna go through all that shit that I be seeing girls go through with all the concealer, foundation eye liner and whatever else they be using, but also because I don't wanna hide or change myself to be with someone. Like I said I've realized that I'm not really anyone's type. And what I mean by that is that I've always been the best friend thats a girl and the people that do become interested in me are just plain weirdos. Some would say that I'm being picky but I don't think I am. Which brings me back to the guy I work with. I've always been attracted to guys are sort of out my league. Well muscled and tall and all that jazz. Imagine that with a small chubby girl with small eyes and a wide nose and u would say bad combo too. A lot of people would say I'm being too hard in myself but I'm just being a realist and speaking from experience. Men tend to look in the other direction when it come to me, and i don't know why. because I've seen women who are fatter than me or even uglier than me who significant others. So why is it so hard for me to want to be with someone and for them to want to be with me in return. Perhaps my standards are too high I don't know. Anyway my question is what do u guys think I should do about the work cutie?
