First of all, I'm 5'8 but I'm not insecure at all. So give it to me straight, I promise I can handle it.

So I have this theory that girls mainly like taller guys because they generally feel more protected around tall dudes. But this feeling doesn't always hold much weight in the real world.

I agree that with the average 6'3 dude vs the average 5'8 dude, the 6'3 dude has a weight and reach advantage if they were to fight. But I'm not talking about averages.

Let's say you had to pick the most attractive guy out of two guys to date.

Guy A: He is 5'8, but is bigger and stronger than most guys. He does strength training and MMA and has been doing so for a long time. He can beat 99% of guys since most guys have no training whatsoever. And just to clarify, he is not steroid-like bodybuilder type big. He is natural and athletic.

Guy B: He is 6'3, lives a mostly sedentary lifestyle. He might do a sport that's more cardio-based like cycling or whatever. He's pretty skinny, but not to the point you think he is sick. Just average skinny. He's not a pussy, he is willing to fight when push comes to shove. He just has no real experience so against Guy A he wouldn't stand a chance.

You are objectively safer with Guy A.

Let's assume for the sake of this question, that both guys have same facial features and everything. Just a different body-composition and height. They also have the same personality, just different skills.

Also please ignore other factors. For example: "Guy A probably lives in the gym and I wouldn't like that"

I can also understand if you are a girl who is taller than 5'8 it might be a turn-off. If that's the case please assume Guy A is your height or an inch taller and add the same amount of height to Guy B.

Long question.

Why would a girl after showing zero interests/investment in me, say yes to a date, and then the day before the date, reschedule? She said "oh busy day, I'm so tired and I'm sure you wouldn't like to date me in that condition, what about next week?" .. Dunno if that's a legit excuse, but it's the first cancellation..

Story short.

As mentioned. This thread is based on my last thread.

I asked her out and she said strangely Yes. But the day before she rescheduled the date to a day I can't, which I said to her. So I put the ball in her court and wished her to recall when she knows a day that works.

Yet (Monday earlier this week) I have not heard from her, which of course aren't that long time, but..

Should I break the ice or just wait for her to get in touch with a new date?

During his first bid for statewide office in 2018, Ron DeSantis was grappling with a key issue that he could soon face again during his potential 2024 bid for the White House: how to not alienate Donald Trump's base.

"Is there any issue upon which you disagree with President Trump?" DeSantis was asked by Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz in footage exclusively obtained by ABC News of the team's mock debate sessions during DeSantis' 2018 run for governor.

"I have to figure out how to do this," then-Congressman DeSantis replied, while letting out a deep sigh.

"Obviously there is, because I mean I voted contrary to him in the Congress," DeSantis continued. "I have to frame it in a way that's not going to piss off all his voters."

DeSantis goes on to suggest that he would respond by saying he would "do what I think is right," and "support [Trump's] agenda."

"If I have a disagreement, I talk to him in private," he said.

ABC News obtained nearly two and a half hours of raw internal tapes of DeSantis' 2018 debate prep sessions that have not previously been made public. His comments in the videos provide a rare glimpse into how the Florida governor, who is now poised to enter the 2024 Republican primary, had previously calculated how to effectively appeal to Donald Trump's fiercely loyal base while also working to carve out his own lane as a candidate -- a balance that DeSantis may need to hone if he is to secure the party's nomination in 2024.

Waking up to the sounds of her mother doing dishes in the kitchen, she could only think about how her life went through for the last few weeks. Drained of energy, feeling like a corpse she got up from bed and went towards the kitchen.

Taking a sip of the warm hot tea, her warm brown eyes caught onto something. Nothing changed in the view from the balcony, her mother’s pretty garden and the neighbor’s plushy green trees but her eyes which skipped through the trees found a young boy with a girl. The concept of love was confusing to Lizz, it was as if something was always missing.

Thinking of the last week. It was kind of dramatic, apart from Alex who never picks up on her likeness for him. Seeing him she always feels the same, weak, no thoughts entering her brain as if her whole body is going through a mixture of feeling, exploding inside.

Being the end of semester Lizz was having exams last week. Reaching her college on scooter, she went to the parking lot which was on the west side of the college which happened to be near to the college boys hostel. Just as she was about to park her scooter.
