I'm going to start by saying that either parent can be any kind of parent. From stay at home to having absolutely nothing to do with their child (ren).

Everyone's circumstances are INCREDIBLY different & unique. I'm on leave taking care of my newborn & have mixed feelings about leaving him to go back to work, but I still have time before I have to go back. My boyfriend is very involved when he's home, although even then I still take on the brunt of the child rearing because he's still nervous & not sure of himself with our baby. His friend & his baby momma on the other hand... His friend doesn't have any involvement with the child, he claims to only have gotten his baby momma pregnant because "if it wasn't this b*tech, it would've someone else I spread my seed to," & the mom still retains her parental rights, even though she gave up her child to her mother (child's grandmother) & should absolutely sign away her parental rights to grandma so that the child can be enrolled in school, since mom refuses to do anything for her child. Won't even let the child call her "mom". So, where do you fall on the spectrum?

I've become strict this year and developed boundaries. My mother confuses it for bitterness. I don't think so. Is what happened to me, the reason kind people are harder to find?

Emotional bullies:
At school, they take pleasure in humiliating you, have little to no empathy. They expect you to forgive and forget, act as if nothing happened when greeting you. This is the same as cleaning someone's mess and be ok with it.

Fake friends and family members.
I once forgave a female bully after a physical fight. I fell for her fake apology, fake tears and handshake. I didn't realize girls don't function the same way as guys. She faked it all for a year and gave me a fake phone number on my yearbook. Certain members in the family are only there for you during your success and good times but not during bad moments.

Takers:
The take and take... and the more kind you are... the more they take. They have no shame in how they're acting. However, if you need a favor all of the sudden they're busy, ghost you or are unavailable. They are online seeing your message and don't respond back. If they need a favor, they expect you to reply back quickly and help them.

Cheapskates:
This is different from saving money. They are the types that buy fancy, expensive things for themselves (it's always about them) but nothing for even their own mothers nor your own b-day. It's always a discount ticket or a cheap buffet, never spoiling you once at least. They are always broke but yet they're wearing expensive shoes, pretending to be wealthy. Or they invite you to their house just to watch a movie but real date.

Liars, lovebombers and scammers:
My ex boyfriend. He asked for money ($1,200) and never paid me back. He was a bum, vampire boyfriend too, lying about future plans and never progressing things. I learned he was really a sociopath that took pleasure in all that. He really wanted to drain all my fertile years for the sake of it. He lovebombed like crazy in the beginning and it was all lies.

I’ll trust anyone until they give me reason not to. But in general, I never fully trust anybody but God. Still, i definitely trust girls less. The last time I had genuine female friendships was preschool and then we all went to different elementary schools so that broke us apart. But in elementary, girls would pretend to be your friend until they got into certain popular groups. In high school and college, girls would pretend to be your friend until they got close enough to try to steal your guy. At work, they forever hatin.
I dont even trust my mom, grandma, and sis anymore because they just seem money-hungry. I lost respect for flakey female cousins and extended family long ago because they only use you to their advantage. Overall, a lot of girls knew I was an open book and would try to use my own information and weaknesses against me. But I’m still gonna share my experiences regardless, so keep on 🤷‍♀️
I dont hate women by any means. Why would i hate my own gender? But i sure as hell dont trust em and I really dont even trust myself. Guys aren’t all that trustworthy either. Its hard to tell their true intentions and although they dont screenshot as much as women and keep receipts like we’re smart enough to, they throw your weaknesses in your face the moment you have an argument. Still, many have treated me better, and although I’ll never fully trust them, I’ll forever trust them more than other women.
