Is it a red flag if a guy has no friends?

No not really.
I literally don’t have any local friends because I lost touch with everyone from highschool and I don’t go to college on campus. I have a few girl friends spread out across the US though. I am content with just having those friends.
I think those are understandable reasons. If it was because he didn’t want friends, or the friends stopped being friends with him for whatever reason, then that would be a “red flag” because it would raise questions… Like, why are the friends running away from him? Why doesn’t he want friends? Etc etc.

True its a similar thing for me, all my friends went into drug dealing and thats really not something I want to be around do just stopped talking to them

Exactly, same here. I’d rather be lonely than have friends like that.

It's not. It'll be just surprising for others. It'll be a red flag if he has toxic traits that caused him to have no friends or to be left alone.
