My ideal dates in order:

1st - shooting pool + pub/eating out — a perfect 1st date to me, fun and casual
2nd - dinner in some bistro/restaurant — a more special date, dressed up nicely
3rd - bowling — I never played bowling and would like to, a fun date
4th - bathing in a quarry + car ride — I love car rides
5th - visit to a retro restaurant — this one is little more special for me, I love retro

27F, I’m 5’7 and that isn’t that tall but I have bad luck with dating apps in the sense that I’ve gotten likes or matches with decent looking guys but when I find out they’re the same height as me or an inch taller I lose interest. In a perfect world I’d prefer 3+ inches taller and that’s the average height for a guy lol I’m not asking for runway models just someone relatively taller. I really don’t think I’m being unreasonable spare my feelings please

It's about court, I had a trial date, but it was very far (it was next year) and I DESPERATELY needed to have it this summer before August 18th. I was seriously contemplating a suicide if the date wasn't going to move. But if you know anything about court, you know that they don't move dates unless you have a really good excuse like an open heart surgery that day... it's also hard to change the date due to the back log we have where I live.. the waiting for a full day trial is minimum of a year waiting. I had no excuse other than my personal beliefs.. my lawyer accepted to try to move the date (thinking that she was gonna ask for a shorter trial instead of a full day trial, (waiting is less long for a shorter trial) but what she and i didn't know is that there were notes on my file, saying not to change the date AND NO to shortening the trial, which meant that it wouldn't work) but guess what? The day we came to request a shorter trial, The crown "lost" my file, which meant that he couldn't read the notes in my file, which somehow leaded to the judge deciding to cancel the old date and set a new date in summer like I wanted... My wish came true, only because he didn't have the file at that perfect moment. miracle. I prayed a lot... a lot for that to happen... I can't stress enough how important this was, it changed my whole life.
Know that the court never ever "lose" files.. it is so unusual, and it was a such a perfect moment, it makes me wonder if a gardien angel helped me out..
and by the way, I do want to go to this trial, so yes he found the file back, which is good.

So I've gone on a few dates with this guy - he's nice, funny, smart, attractive, respectful, and he's a college graduate at age 21. Frankly, we have some chemistry, and he meets all of my criteria. He's kind of shy, so although he's asked me on several dates, it seems unlikely for him to push for anything further.

We met about a year ago, but I was in another relationship, and we were just friends. We had gone on a date beforehand.

Our fifth date is scheduled for tomorrow (July 10). My friends are asking whether or not I want to date him long term, and... I don't know. I guess I'm comparing him to one of my exes, who seemed kind of perfect for me. Some part of me just keeps holding back. On the other hand, if he's not a guy for me, who could be?

Should I pursue a relationship with him? Just see where things go? Or is my hesitancy a sign that he's not right for me?
