First of all, I'm warning you in advance. Please don't write political comments. I'm only asking a cultural question.

As for my question, Iranians are not Arabs, they are Persians. Also, there is a Turkic population in Iran that is almost as large as the Persian population. I am a young Turk living in Türkiye.

In Türkiye, the Arabic alphabet was used until 1928, after which the Latin alphabet was adopted. We still use the Latin alphabet today. However, the Arabic alphabet is still used in Iran. As a child, I thought Iranians were Arabs because they used the Arabic alphabet. That was until I did some research. When I grew up and did my research, I learned that Iranians are not Arabs but Persians, that their official language is Persian, and that they only use the Arabic alphabet. Did you also think Iranians were Arabs when you were little?

As a child or young adolescent who did you go to for comfort when you were feeling down or scared or what have you? was there that pillar person in your life you always knew you could go to? if you went to multiple people who did you go to the most?

I think I've told a few people on here that im attempting to write my own books. It will be an epic medieval fantasy setting and i am fleshing out a few of the main characters im thinking about putting in the story.

the main main character though i got a middle aged woman who is a master at fighting with a sword. Her name is Charlotte and she lives in an internment camp among other human beings who in my story are a bit rare.

some other traits about her i got so far:

- she has no children not due to any illness or bad health but because she simply decided she doesn’t want to. She decided child rearing wasn’t for her.

- her father who was a war hero and taught her everything about being a fighter has been missing for a long time.

- she has a positive upbeat attitude towards life despite living in an internment camp.

Thats about it so far. I originally had her as a make character and younger but i dunno i find this a bit more interesting a d not something you likely see in fantasy or any story really. I like the challenge in any case. What would make a middle aged woman give up an established life and go on an adventure? I find it thought provoking.

There has been an ongoing shortage for years of fire trucks/apparatus and ambulances. In addition, the nation is grappling with a nationwide firefighter shortage. A senator who owns a private ambulance company told me there is also a shortage of EMS personnel.

Nationwide, there has been a 20% drop in volunteer firefighter participation since 1985. 20 percent may seems small, but it is huge.

At the same time, the fire service and EMS has not evolved too much in years, if perhaps, decades. Policymakers and state leaders have neglected fire, rescue, and EMS while everyday citizens haven't noticed much. The 100% volunteer model of service is severely outdated today, and with people having to work multiple full time jobs to stay afloat along with pessimism and nihilism in younger generations regarding the overall state of the country, we can see why no one wants to put in the strenuous training hours and time.

The only branch under the public safety realm that I have seen sustain itself and even thrive in many cases is law enforcement.

They think Trump is doing a good job. They believe everyone is happy with Trump even though their news bureau FOX even has Polls explaining Trump has less than 40% approval. They think inflation is 0 . They think it is ok to just shoot liberals and Democrats for any reason. They believe 2nd amendment is only for them but not all Americans. They think it is ok for Trump to attack countries that have done nothing to US and take that countries resources. They believe Media should be locked up because they don't like what they are reporting. They believe the Constitution should be ignored and want Trump to violate it by running a 3rd term. They believe voting machines are used to cheat even though after investigation , they have been found to work fine. With clear evidence that Trump aboused young girls told by multiple girls , they refuse to believe it.

Yep Trump says higher home prices are good.

Tell the young people that. They can't afford to buy a home. Homelessness is already getting worse in America. Most of the so called jobs offered are fake listings They are working 3 low paying jobs now. . No way can younger people afford a 50 year Mortgage. People aged 18 to 30 are a huge voting block and they won't be voting for Republicans in November. Inflation is going to be higher than when Biden was in because of His Tariffs which are now just kicking in. Plus Trump wants lower interest rates , which will make everything go up. in price. Companies have been eating higher costs and they won;t be able to do that much longer.

Americans must also pay higher insurance costs and Property Taxes with higher home prices. Trump thinks higher valued homes are good but what does a person really gain? People can't borrow more on it. Houses don't pay dividends. Homes are also a liability until it is paid off.

He also said young people don't work hard enough to deserve a home.

Completely opposite on what he ran on. He promised lower housing costs.
