Are these good gifts for a young woman?

I am mostly buying cakes for friends’ birthdays, with the exception of a small handful of friends. With these other friends, I’m regifting or buying things off eBay or from the op shop. I have a pretty evening bag that I don’t need; and I’ll never use. I thought I could give my younger friend the evening bag, for Christmas and a beautiful, moderately expensive necklace that I’ll never wear could be good for her birthday.
